"The best little museum I have ever visited and I've seen a lot," says a visitor. Dioramas of early gold mines: prospectors gold panning, a prospector's shaft, a sluicing operation & a drift mine. A huge polar bear rug from the 1950s, an original Valdez Trail stage coach, and a lot more. The emphasis is on early Fairbanks & Interior Alaska history and includes Rusty Heurlin's Gold Rush murals: "The Big Stampede" show narrated by Ruben Gaines.
