Founded in 1960, the Alaska Goldpanners of Fairbanks are a collegiate summer baseball team. The Panners have sent over 200 players to the majors, including Tom Seaver, Dave Winfield and Barry Bonds. Catch a home game in June and July at Growden Park. The Panners also host the world-famous Midnight Sun Game. Played entirely without the use of artificial light, this Fairbanks tradition dates back to 1906 and has gained the attention of international media. First pitch is set for 10pm on June 21st.
