Mammut Mountain Yak Farm offers unique, all ages hands-on opportunities to engage with Alaskan yaks! Whether you are a fiber connoisseur, wooly animal lover, or looking for an off-road adventure, we have you covered! During a tour you will learn about the special qualities of yaks that allow them to be comfortable at 40 degrees below zero, their fiber, off-grid farming, and history of the Chena River Valley. We raise yaks because they are intelligent, versatile, and thrive in cold climates.
