Large Animal Research Station - UAF

The Large Animal Research Station (LARS) has a broad mission to support research, education, and outreach on Alaskan animals. LARS is a 130-acre facility in Fairbanks, Alaska currently housing muskoxen, reindeer, and wood bison. Tours are offered daily in the summer at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. No pre-reservation is required for groups less than 10 people. The gift shop is open 9:30-4 and has local gifts and qiviut products for sale.
