The Yukon Quest Alaska races will be starting in downtown Fairbanks on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024. Don't miss seeing off the mushers competing in this year's races as they head out on an epic journey through the arctic wilderness. Dress warm, grab your camera, and get ready to hear a cacophony of happy eager dogs exclaiming their excitement!

The Yukon Quest Alaska is made up of three races:

YQA 300: Starting in Fairbanks, teams travel over Rosebud and Eagle Summit to Circle, then run a section of the Yukon River, returning back to Central for the finish.
YQA 200: Starting in Fairbanks and finishing in Central, teams will get to experience Rosebud and Eagle Summit on this challenging route.
YQA 80 (starts at 3PM): Running from Fairbanks to Two Rivers and back this event gives mushers an excellent opportunity to try distance mushing and improve their skills.
