Mark Your Calendar for Solstice Fireworks Downtown! 

Celebrate the longest night of the year with one of Fairbanks’ brightest traditions! Join us Saturday, December 20 at 8 PM for a breathtaking Solstice Fireworks Show, lighting up the winter sky above the Chena River.

 Presented by Alyeska Pipeline and made possible by our generous community sponsors, this dazzling display will launch from Shoreway Park — right in the heart of downtown Fairbanks!

Best Viewing Spots:
For the best views, head to the south side of the Chena River. There’s plenty of parking and nearby spots to enjoy the show with friends and family. (Please note: for safety, river ice viewing is prohibited, and bridges will be closed to foot traffic during the show.)

 Make a night of it! Stroll through downtown, grab a bite or a warm drink from a local café, and soak up the magic of winter in Fairbanks.
