Beginner/Intermediate Marimba Workshop (Winter)

Dive into the rhythms and joy of marimba music in this lively, hands-on winter workshop presented by the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival (FSAF). Designed for beginners and intermediate players alike, you’ll explore accessible rhythmic patterns inspired by the traditions of the Shona people of Zimbabwe, play together on large wooden marimbas, and experience the rich, exciting sound of group percussion. No previous musical experience is required!
