Saturday & Sunday, November 2 & 3, 2019 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm each session
In this class students will learn some of the basics of basket weaving with reed and will make a small market basket.
Baskets are fun to make and are so useful for carrying and storing things that virtually every culture world-wide has its own materials and style for weaving them. We’ll talk a little about some of these, and then students will learn one simple approach by weaving a reed market basket on an 8″ wide by 12″ tall wooden handle.
Location: Pioneer Park - Cabin 66 - Back Room
