The American Revolution required people to take a stand and make difficult choices. Acclaimed historian Dr. Joanne Freeman explores the political, personal, and cultural tensions of revolution and the parallels that continue to resonate today.
 
Dr. Freeman is an award-winning historian, Yale professor, and author of Affairs of Honor, The Essential Hamilton, and The Field of Blood. Her scholarship helped inspire Lin-Manuel Miranda during the writing of Hamilton.
 
Hosted by the Alaska Historical Society, the UAF History Department, and National Park Service America 250.
