Learn the tools and trick of telling a great story from the creator and host of Dark Winter Nights: True Stories from Alaska, Fairbanks’ own storytelling program. Students will learn what audiences want in a story and how to take a good story and make it great.

Part of being human is the desire to share experiences through story telling, but not everyone has the experience and knowledge to engage the audience in an entertaining manner.

During this 3-session class, students will gain an in-depth understanding about:

-Determining what an audience wants in a story
-Designing and structuring of good stories
-Delivering/Performing of a good story

Students will have the opportunity to practice these skills and receive immediate feedback during the course.

Ages 13 to adult.

Pre-registration required.
