Solstice Ski and Stroll at Denali National Park and Preserve

Join us for the annual Solstice Ski and Stroll on Sunday, December 21 from 4 - 6 p.m. This free drop-in event celebrates the long nights, and the snowy winters that make Alaska so unique and special. Bring your skis or snowshoes and stop by the Winter Visitors Center anytime between 4 - 6 p.m. to explore the boreal forest by candlelight. This event is family-friendly, and the trail is appropriate for all levels of skiing and snowshoeing. A small number of snowshoes are available for loan at the Winter Visitor Center.

A selection of hot drinks will be provided at the Indoor Picnic Area. Please bring a mug, a headlamp, and warm layers as we celebrate the longest night of the year.
