Rigid Heddle Weaving – Scarf, Runner or Tea Towel

/
About
+-

Ever wanted to try weaving but found the equipment, expense and jargon completely overwhelming? Never fear! The small but mighty rigid heddle looms simplifies everything from warping the loom to finishing your piece.

In three sessions, you will be able to warp your loom, design your project, weave it, cut it from the loom and apply a few simple finishing techniques to make it a real showpiece. Workshop participants will have a choice of projects – scarf, table runner or tea towel. You’ll be able to take your loom home to practice and work on your project between sessions. If you have a yarn stash at home, we can even incorporate some of your favorite yarns in your finished project.
