Pet Parade and Costume Contest

Bring your furry friends to the first annual Pet Parade & Costume Contest at Pioneer Park on August 27th at 3 pm! Prizes donated by Cold Spot for Healthy Pets for:

• Best Pet Trick

The parade will start at 3pm on August 27th, 2022 at the Pioneer Park Moore Street Gate. Parade participants should report no later than 2:45p.m. on the day of the parade to the Moore Street Gate entrance. The parade will start at Moore Street Gate and end at the Gazebo. There is no charge to participate.

The parade will march past the Playground, to the Air Museum, around to Roela's Carousel, to the Pioneer Hall, down through Gold Rush Town and end at the Gazebo. The entire parade consists of a leisurely stroll that takes about 30 minutes.

Judging will take place during and after the parade. The judges will select approximately three finalists in each category prior to and during the parade. They will make their final selection of the category winners immediately after the parade at the judging and review stand at the Gazebo.
