Midwinter Music Minifestival

Fresh off the Broadway show "Come From Away," Caitlin Warbelow (fiddle) and Chris Ranney (piano) lead this one-day music and dance gathering on February 11th at Goldie's in downtown Fairbanks, Alaska.

1:30-2:30pm: Kids Irish Music Workshop
2:30-3:30pm: Adult Irish Music Workshop
3:30-5pm: Open Irish Session
5-6:30pm: Open Contradance
6:30-7:30pm: Dinner Break
7:30pm: Concert

So that all can attend regardless of financial situation, the price is "pay what it’s worth to you". You’ll be able to choose the amount when you check out.

• You can come and go as much as you like.

• Goldie's will have tasty beverages of all sorts available all day. Please support this awesome local business!

• The kids workshop is open to kids ages 6-14 who have played a melody instrument for at least one year.

• The adult workshop is open to those 15+ who have played a melody instrument for at least one year. Advanced kids under 15 are also welcome.

• The session is free, and open to everyone (including listeners). Bring your instruments!

• You don’t need to have any experience to attend the contradance. Just bring a second pair of shoes to dance in so we can keep the floor clean.

• Concert seating is general admission.

• Folks under 21 years of age are very welcome at all events as long as they're accompanied by a parent or guardian.
