About
+-

This course focuses on the classroom-based knowledge elements that most affect long range bolt rifle or gas gun shooting performance. In a quiet, focused environment, we can build, refresh, and troubleshoot these foundations. As a result, you gain an enormous advantage on your next range session. Instead of wasting ammo or time, build this foundation NOW.
-Learn or refresh the critical knowledge framework supporting long-range precision
-Optics Optimization and Knowledge – understanding the least known, yet most helpful, element of long-range precision
-External Ballistics – Understanding the environment and how it effects long range performance
-Ballistic software – Build or troubleshoot a custom drop card for your caliber
-Tools of the Trade – an overview of helpful (and harmful!) tools to use or avoid
-Build a solid foundation of knowledge to support long range shooting, hunting, competition, and more!
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of mid to long range shooting, some shooting experience at distances greater than 300 yards, downloaded ballistic app (we suggest Hornady 4DoF), or kestrel.
At registration you'll be emailed a list of items to bring (or not bring) and provided a list of demo products we'll discuss in class.
This course is a foundational prerequisite to all of our Mid and Long Range classes offered around the state.
