Fairbanks Arts is pleased to present two concurrent exhibitions in the Bear Gallery this February: Luminous Darkness by Maïté Agopian and Finding the River by Olena Ellis.

Luminous Darkness explores shadow as both material and metaphor through immersive, light-based installations rooted in puppetry, play, and perception. Finding the River features ceramic sculptures with mixed media that trace a personal journey of transformation, intuition, and becoming.

While distinct in medium and approach, both exhibitions invite reflection on inner landscapes and the ways people navigate change, offering visitors two unique yet complementary experiences within a shared gallery space.
