In this class we will make small printing blocks from cardboard. Collagraph comes from the word collage, which is a piece of art made by sticking various different materials onto a backing.

This is a very simple, yet fun and incredibly versatile way of creating prints. We will be working mainly with scissors and occasionally an exacto knife. Printing ink can stain clothing, so please wear old clothes or bring an apron.

Note: This class is open to folks ages 12 and up who experience cognitive disabilities, and may be receiving services from a day habilitation organization, such as Fairbanks Resource Agency or Morning Star Ranch. Students will need to attend class with a support person. If you have any questions, please contact kerri@folk.school.
