Charitable Gifts: What Should You Know

Free Workshop

Instructors: Todd Rengo and Kevin Pilon of Thrivent Financial

This workshop will explore how to make charitable donations efficiently, and what pitfalls to avoid now and later. It will teach people some of the ways they are able to make a bigger impact on the causes they care about both now and at their passing, and ways to do it that can minimize taxes to them and their descendants.

Refreshments will be provided and there will be plenty of time for questions.

Anyone who would like to speak further with Todd or Kevin will be able to make an appointment in the days following the workshops.

Thrivent Financial is a fortune 500, not-for-profit, full service fraternal benefit firm serving over 2 million members. Our structure provides a unique and focused mission to provide our members the ability to be wise with money and allows them to live more generously.

Note: The Folk School is not receiving any benefit from offering these workshops through Thrivent, other than the possibility that some participants may be willing to include us in their charitable giving plan. No one who attends the workshops will be under any obligation to either Thrivent or The Folk School. This is an honestly free workshop. People of all faiths, beliefs and backgrounds are welcome to attend.
