Annual Ballaine Ridge Snowshoe Classic Race

The Annual Ballaine Ridge Snowshoe Classic Race is a challenging and scenic winter race hosted by Running Club North. Designed for both seasoned racers and adventurous newcomers, this snowshoe run takes participants along mostly single-track trails from Ballaine Ridge into the Goldstream Valley.

Racers can choose between 3K, 6K, or 9K distances by completing one, two, or three loops of a hilly and demanding 3K course. The route features rolling terrain and beautiful winter scenery, making it a true test of endurance and snowshoe skills. Extra snowshoes are available for participants who need them.

Same-day registration is available, and all are welcome to join this classic Fairbanks winter event.
