The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host two public events in conjunction with Alaska National Lab Day in late May. Both events are scheduled for Tuesday, May 29.
From 3-5 p.m., take part in a self-guided walking tour of 11 research facilities to learn about current projects and meet scientists in climate science, geosciences, natural resources and engineering. From 6-9 p.m. Alaska researchers and Native leaders will present "TEDx-University of Alaska Fairbanks,” talks focused on energy and other Alaska challenges. Admission to the talks is $75. Visit http://bit.ly/aknatlabdaytalks to purchase tickets.
