Alaska Dog Mushers Association Open House

Join us for an Open House on Sunday, Oct 13! We'll start with and informal membership meeting at 10am, the Open House will begin at 11:30 with sign-ups for a foot race in honor of Carol Kleckner, race begins at noon course and distance TBD. We'll also be hosting - a Free Microchip Clinic from FNSB Animal Control; a static dog truck parade, gear swap, and meet the mushers in the holding area; Musher Olympics interactive display; and Concessions and Bake Sale in the hall (bring items to sell if possible!). We are also hoping to have a Puppy Petting Pen, demo from PAWS Search & Rescue, and ATA fall fur auction, but are working on details still. For now, save the date and let us know if you are able to help out at all! We are still in need of some young puppies for the petting pen also.
