Fairbanks audiences are invited to celebrate the darkest winter nights with one of the most anticipated performing arts events of the season! Golden Heart Performing Arts proudly presents the 8th Annual Winter Solstice Soirée – An Evening of Aerial and Acrobatic Arts, taking place Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31, 2026.

About the Winter Solstice Soirée

Founded in 2018 by Artistic Director and Owner Teal Belz, the Winter Solstice Soirée has become a beloved annual Fairbanks tradition. This year’s Winter Solstice Soirée features a dynamic new theme, Greek Mythology, bringing to life a captivating retelling of the story of Persephone and Hades. Local youth circus performers will dazzle audiences as aerialists soar from the ceiling and acrobats twist, tumble, and contort across the stage in an unforgettable showcase of strength, artistry, and storytelling.
The 2026 production marks the 8th annual show and the directorial debut of Athena Barber.

The event includes three full-length, two-hour productions:
Friday, January 30 – 6:00 PM Evening Show
Saturday, January 31 – 1:00 PM Matinee
Saturday, January 31 – 6:00 PM Evening Show

The Winter Solstice Soirée is an all-ages event, with discounted tickets available for youth when accompanied by an adult.
Performances will be held at the NEW 8 Star Events Center, located at 1485 30th Ave, Fairbanks, AK 99701 (formerly known as Friends Church).

Purchase your ticket online at www.GoldenHeartAK.com or in-person at LUMI Coffee Bar. LUMI Coffee Bar is located at 2815 Horner Court, Unit 3, Fairbanks, AK 99709, and is open Wednesday–Friday from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. This event is expected to sell out. Tickets must be purchased in advance to guarantee entry.

$40 Adult (Ages 18+)
$25 Youth (Ages 17 and under, accompanied by an adult ticket)
$60 VIP (Adult or Youth – includes priority seating in a reserved area; limited to 100 tickets per show)
