25th Annual Morris Thompson Memorial Golf Classic by Doyon Foundation

More than just a golf tournament, the Morris Thompson Memorial Golf Classic is a celebration of leadership, education, and community impact.

This annual event raises funds for the Doyon Foundation’s Morris Thompson Competitive Scholarships, which are awarded to students who embody Morris Thompson’s most admired qualities: vision, dedication to excellence, exemplary leadership, and integrity. Since the tournament’s founding in 2001, the scholarship fund has supported 345 students, awarding nearly $800,000 toward higher education.

The 25th Annual Morris Thompson Memorial Golf Classic will be held Thursday and Friday, June 18–19, 2026, in Fairbanks. Community members are invited to take part as players, volunteers, or sponsors and help continue this meaningful legacy.
