Job Description: Join Explore Fairbanks’ dynamic team of professionals who contribute to the economic well-being of the Fairbanks area by marketing to potential visitors. We currently seek candidates for the following full-time non-exempt position: Visitor Information Specialist.
Staffs the Explore Fairbanks information kiosks at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center year-round and Pioneer Park in the summer. Helps to provide information on Fairbanks and Interior Alaska to visitors and potential visitors in person, over the telephone, by mailings and other special projects as needed. Candidate must be attentive to detail, organized, dependable and able to work independently, extensive knowledge of PC’s, good interpersonal communication skills and be a team player.
