Interior Villages
The 42 villages of Interior Alaska are represented by the Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC). Their region covers an area equal to 37% of the state of Alaska, just slightly smaller than Texas. Most of these villages are far off the road system and located in beautiful remote, riverside locations througout the Interior.

Santa Claus
The Jolly Old Elf makes his list and checks it twice just 15 miles from Fairbanks. Year-round Christmas decorations, festive street names and famous Santa-themed landmarks can be found Winter or Summer in North Pole, Alaska; one of our closest neighbors. Drop in and give the big guy a visit while you're here.

Golden Heart Greeters
Sit down with one of our Golden Heart Greeters when you arrive in town and be introduced to Fairbanks by a real Alaskan. A warm Fairbanks welcome awaits, as you ask questions, hear stories only a local could tell or even get some hand-written directions.

Hot Springs
Natural geothermal hot springs are common throughout Interior Alaska. A short trip from Fairbanks will pay off with a hot soak and perhaps the chance to see dancing northern lights overhead. Bring your towel and sense of adventure to experience one of our most relaxing natural phenomenon.
