Alyeska Pipeline Service Company operates the Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) that transports crude oil 800 miles from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez. The pipeline can be viewed at Milepost 8 on the Steese Highway north of Fairbanks in Fox.
