(Fairbanks, AK) -- The local Fairbanks AWG committee will be accepting votes through May 14 for your favorite theme for the 2014 Fairbanks Arctic Winter Games (AWG) bid.

Members of the public are asked to vote only once for one of the following themes submitted by members of the community and selected by a local committee – Arctic Edge; Lasting Culture, Enduring Spirit; and Great Spirit, Northern Dreams. Grand prize winner will be announced on May 24.

Voting can be done online at  www.awgfairbanks2014.org or in person at the Fairbanks Convention & Visitors Bureau (FCVB), located in the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center, 101 Dunkel Street in downtown Fairbanks.  Current hours of the center are 8 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week, with summer hours extending until 9 pm beginning May 10.
