(Fairbanks, AK) -- America’s farthest north automobile museum, the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum, will shine this summer on solstice weekend, June 18-20, with its inaugural Alaska Midnight Sun Cruise-In event. Check out the collection of vintage automobiles dating back to the late 1800s and include a dinner cruise ending with an authentic Alaska salmon bake, a steam car demonstration, classic car show and the Tour de Fairbanks classic car cruise along with a full slate of family-friendly activities. Combine this with the Midnight Sun Run, the Midnight Sun Festival, the Midnight Sun Baseball Game and the Yukon 800 Boat Race, you’re getting a theme, aren’t you – a 10K event starting at 10 pm, a festival on the longest day of the year, a baseball game starting at 10:30 pm and played without artificial lights – for 105 years, and the longest, roughest and toughest speed boat race in the world. You won’t want to miss the light, energy and warmth of summer solstice in Fairbanks!
