(Fairbanks, AK) -- Northern Alaska Tour Company announces 3 more dates for a special Arctic Circle Winter Fly Drive Adventure:

Thursday, 11 February -
Departs 12:00 noon / Return Approx. 11:00 - 12:00 am

Friday, 12 February –
Departs 1:00 pm / Return Approx. 10:00—11:00 pm

Saturday, 20 February—
Departs 2:30 pm / Return Approx. 12:30—1:30 am

RATE: $219 per person

This one day adventure by air and land across the Arctic Circle is not usually available during the winter months and provides guests an opportunity to see the vastness of Alaska’s Arctic from the air as well as see it up close during the ground tour on the Dalton Highway.

Important details include:

  • Reservations require both the name of each guest for their Arctic Circle Certificate and their individual body weight for the small plan.
  • Meals are not included; however, can be brought by the guest or bought at Coldfoot Camp to take with them.  Important for the guest to know if they don’t bring their own food or purchase something from Coldfoot their next opportunity to purchase food is upon their return to Fairbanks. Northern Alaska Tour Company does provide hot water and instant tea/coffee/hot chocolate for the ground tour portion of the experience.
  • Tour vehicles are not equipped with restrooms.  Stops will be made along the Dalton Highway at public outhouses.
  • Return times are approximate and based on road conditions, weather, and the time taken at each stop.
  • Departure is at our terminal at 3820 University Avenue and guests need to check in 1 hour prior to the departure.  If guests are staying at a core area hotel we can provide a return shuttle at the end of the tour.
